A delightful child’s wooden play tray with a charming village scene. The game has eight removable pieces to reveal the interiors of various village shops. Lovely graphics. This is a quality British game, made by G. J. Hayter & Co. Ltd., Bournemouth, under their Victory brand name. It appears that the elements of the original box lid have been attched to a stronger box. This really is a nice collectable game.
The game is thought to be quite rare. By 1982, this type of game was deemed to be old fashioned and not as popular as they had been in the post-War period.
