1967 The Magic Roundabout Bagatelle Game by Marx Toys, Swansea

Description

Here’s a nice working example of  an early Magic Roundabout game.  Themed on the classic BBC TV childrens programme, this colourful action game depicts many of the famous characters from the series:  Dougal; Brian; Florence; Zebedee and Mr Rusty.  The main game is complete and in good working order including the spring-loaded shooterand the hinged plastic device to hold / release the balls from the scoring positions.  The removable small plastic stand attachment is not present but could be easily replaced.  A lovely display item dating from the late 1960’s.  Made by Marx Toys of Swansea,Wales.
