1954 Destination Bristol Game by J.S.Fry & Sons, England

Description

Here’s a very rare J.S. Fry & Sons promotional Board Game which was posted to individuals for entering a design competition in 1954.  This superb example is 100% complete and unused!  It has the game board, a cardboard sheet containing the playing pieces and a spinner dice (all unpunched), and a card from the manufacturer.  Amazingly, the game is still in the original large envelope, issued by Fry’s.  The envelope has a Royal Mail date stamp for Bristol, 30-Nov-1954 (postage cost 3d.).
