1946 ALSO RAN Horse Racing Game by Chad Valley, England

Description

Here’s a nice complete example of this early party / gambling game, with a clever movement mechanic.  The game includes a full set of track cards with 12 straight pieces and 4 corners.  There are six wooden Horse pieces and the original instructions.

Published in 1946 (see instructions) and made in England by Chad Valley of Harborne.  The box measures 24 x 15 x 5 cm.
