Description
Superb example of this rare vintage game. The game is complete and has little sign of use. Contains a full deck of 45 cards, all in crisp, clean and uncreased condition. There are four suits of 11 cards plus the Joker card, depicting Peter Pan. All the cards have a different illustration. The original instruction booklet is also in very good order as is the box with all corners intact. The padded top of the box, which is quite delicate by design, does have a small surface split, but nothing serious and hardly noticeable.
The game was manufactured in Great Britain by Castell Brothers Ltd. (London & Glasgow), under their ‘Pepys Series’ brand name and dates from the second world war period (1943).
