Description
A well made early betting game, constructed from marbled brown Bakelite. The device has a knurled steel knob on the side which activates the two spinning wheels. The display window shows the winning number and the odds. Although there are no instructions, it appears to be a simple gambling game. The game also includes a cloth betting mat, which is in very good condition.
The maker is unknown but there is a British patent number on the base of the unit 30218/31. I believe the last two digits indicate the year when the patent was granted i.e. 1931. This would tie in with the art deco design and materials used. The game still has its original box which is also in very good condition for age.
A rare game in very good working condition as shown.
Note. Due to its rarity, I have not been able to find out any information about this game on the internet. Without any documentation I am not even sure of the name of the game. Any further details would be gratefully received.
