Description

A very rare dexterity game with a fairground / arcade feel.  A hinged back-board swings open from its stored position to reveal three inclined tracks.  In the base, there is a loose octagonal board with 8 holes around its edges.  The idea of the game is to release balls from the top of the back-board using a trigger mechanism.  The balls roll along the three tracks and onto the tilting board below. The player then attempts to guide the balls into the holes by tilting the board as necessary.

The game is in good working order with five balls still present.  It is constructed of wood and hardboard.  Instructions are printed on a label attached to the underside of the box lid.  There have been some repairs to the box lid on the internal edges as shown.  The box measures 11 x 11 x 2 inches.

A wonderful display item with excellent period artwork on the box label.  This very rare game would grace any collection or museum.

Due to its age and rarity, I have been unable to find anything about this game online.  The label indicates ‘Made in England’ but the manufacturer is unknown.  Please let me know if you have any more information.

Please refer to all the photos as these form an integral part of the item description.
