Description
This is a lovely original 1935 British parlour game in exceptional condition, given its significant age (over 80 years old!). The game was made in England by Tan-Sad Ltd. of Birmingham. It is complete with all six, board-mounted, comical figures (Bokos) and the two metal diabolo / yo-yo style tops (Rolos). There is a small area of surface loss to one side of one of the Bokos, but this does not affect play. Includes the original instruction sheet. The box is also in very good order, as shown.
Overall, a wonderful and unusual vintage British game. and very rare to find a complete example in its original box and with the original instructions!
Please Note This is an original first edition of the game, dating from the 1930’s, but please be aware that there is a very modern reproduction currently on the market. It can be identified by the words ‘Heritage Toys and Games’ marked on the lid. I have seen some of these being marketed as original vintage games, so please don’t get caught out by unscrupulous sellers.
