Description
This rare Edwardian antique game (c. 1900-1910), is in good condition for its age. The box has some sympathetic restoration to split edges, rendering it a robust and still playable parlour game. Designed in England and made for the English speaking market by J W Spear & Sons, Bavaria. Later, in the 1920’s, this well regarded games manufacturer moved to the U.K.
As with many games from this period, the lid has a delightful lithographic image, showing children at play. This image has survived substantially intact, as shown. The instructions are printed on a label, attached to the underside of the lid.
Please refer to all the photos, as these form an integral part of the item description.
