1890 Jovial Families by A. Collier, London

Description

Jovial Families was published in London by A. Collier and is estimated to date from the 1890’s.  Here we have a lovely complete set in its original box.  There is a full complement of 52 picture cards made up of 13 family groups of four.  The cards are in great condition given their considerable age with wonderful caricature images in the grotesque style.  The game includes the original double sided Rules card.  The two-part box is also in good order for age with the usual handling marks on the outer sleeve.
