Description
Here’s a very early Lotto game, thought to date from the late Victorian period c.1880’s. The set is contained in a slide-top wooden box, which is still structurally sound. Unlike many later versions, it is of superior quality with very thick cards and a full set of deep wooden number pieces. There are also loads of bone counters, used to cover numbers on the card. The fact that bone has been used is a clear indicator of the game’s considerable age.
The box measures 24 x 18 x 7 cm.
