Description
This vintage British board game is in superb condition, with very little play wear. It has a nice straight box with no bowing to the lid. All the cards are crisp and clean without any creasing. Very rare to find one in such good order. The game is complete with a full complement of cricketer figures. The large quality Game Board is flat and very good for its age. There are even a few unused score sheets remaining on the pad.
“The Gillette Cup” game was based on the knockout County Cricket competition of the same name (click here), which ran between 1963 and 1980 under this title. The game was produced in 1970 by Ariel, at the height of competitions popularity.
