Description
A very rare vintage British game, published in 1969 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Daily Mail Great Transatlantic Air Race. The original competition was successfully completed by Capt. John Alcock and Lt. Arthur Whitten Brown in 1919. The board game uses a simple Roll and Move mechanic, in a race to the top of the Empire State Building in New York, or the top of the Post Office Tower in London. This appears to be a very scarce game and was probably produced in limited numbers by Chad Valley for the Daily Mail.
