“Salute to a great Sailor!”
A nice example of this classic British board game, in good vintage condition as shown. This 1967 game commemorates the first solo circumnavigation of the globe by Sir Francis Chichester aboard his yacht Gipsy Moth IV. As can be seen, this is an old style large box game with a two-fold (3 section) board measuring over a metre in length! All six (mini-model) Yacht playing pieces are still present. The box is also in good order with superb artwork by Deryck Foster. Published in England by Minimodels (Tri-ang) Ltd., Havant, Hants.
