1960’s Merit Magic Set by J & L Randall, Potters Bar, England

Description

Here’s a rare example of an early Magic Set.  Estimated to date from the 1960’s, the set was made in England by J & L Randall Ltd, Potters Bar, London under their Merit brand name.  I don’t think it’s fully complete but most parts are still present as shown.  Some perishable components (e.g. rubber bands), may need replacing.  Includes the original instruction booklet, which outlines 70 different magic tricks.  A lovely display piece.
