1956 Punch & Judy Card Game by Pepys, England

Description

Here we have a complete example of this very rare British, Rummy style, card game dating from the 1950’s.  The cards are in good used condition. Two of the cards (pictured) have old repairs.  The game also includes the original double-sided Rules card.  The cards feature all the usual characters: Mr Punch, Judy, The Baby, The Policeman, Jack Ketch, Jim Crow, Joey the Clown, The Beadle, The Crocodile and Toby the Dog.  Wonderful artwork by Neville Main.  The box still has the Title Card attached.  Made in England by Castell Brothers Ltd. under their famous Pepys brand name.
