“A Game of Adventure on the High Seas”
This wonderful vintage game is in great condition for its age. The ‘Treasure Chest’ box is also in very good order with all corners intact. The sturdy box contains a treasure map in the form of a scroll. The map (game board) is made from durable, linen-backed paper. All six original playing pieces are still present. These are card Galleons, fitted to coloured wooden bases. Also includes two dice (red & black), a dice shaker and a piece of ‘gold’ treasure! Original instruction sheet still present. The box measures 19 x 12 x 9 cm.
This very rare game was made by Castell Brothers Ltd. (London and Glasgow) under their Pepys brand name. It dates from 1949.
