Description

A charming vintage game, made in England by Bell Toys and Games Ltd. of Willow Street, London.  This very rare game, based on the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, has survived in remarkably good condition considering its age.  It is complete and includes a simple, yet ingenious mechanism: the Big Bad Wolf piece moves along a track from his Den to Grandma’s House by means of a string concealed beneath the board. The other end of the string is attached to a peg, which is gradually advanced up a series of holes when the spinner lands on the Wolf symbol.  The game instructions are printed on the underside of the box lid.  The box is still bright and in good shape.

This is the only copy I’ve ever come across in many years of collecting, so I guess it is very uncommon.

Please refer to all the photos, as these form an integral part of the item description.
