Description

A nice clean copy of this popular target game.  The game is called Flip-a-Cap (Flying Caps) and consists of a target grid board, two launchers and five projectiles.  The Rules are printed on the underside of the box lid as shown.  There have been many variants on this theme over the years by different manufacturers and with numerous titles.  The origins of the game can be traced as far back as the Victorian period.  Curiously, this particular game does not indicate the maker but as it has some plastic pieces, it is believed to be a post-war example and is estimated to date from the 1950’s.  The game is in remarkable condition for its age with minimal signs of use.  The box measures 22 x 22 x 3cm.
