1950’s Circus Boy ‘As seen on BBC TV’ An Ariel Game

This has to be one of the rarest games in my collection.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen another for sale.  There is an example of the game shown on the boardgamegeek site, but it is the american version in a different box.  This is the U.K. edition manufactured by Ariel Productions Ltd. 23-24 Maiden Lane, London, WC2.

Based on the U.S. TV series Circus Boy which was first broadcast on NBC in 1956.  It must have also been shown in the U.K. as the game box indicates ‘As seen on BBC TV’.

Even I’m too young to remember the original TV programme but boardgamegeek states ‘…based on the Television Show starring Noah Berry and Mickey Dolenz (of THE MONKEES fame)’
