This mid-century Play Tray is complete and in good vintage condition as shown. A superb example, featuring a stylised version of a British Rail Steam Locomotive. A quality wooden Jigsaw style game, made in England by Abbatt Toys… “Modern Toys for Modern Children”. This pioneering company, founded by Paul and Marjorie Abbatt established a new philosophy for educational toys. These rare toys are now recognised as design classics in their own right. The game would also make an excellent piece of contemporary artwork in the right setting.
