Description

Here’s a rare old American board game from the post-War period.  The game contents are complete and in good vintage condition as shown.  In this chase game, one player controls the Fox piece and the others each have a Hound.   The Fox attempts to evade all the Hounds and Wins the game by safely returning to his Den.  Any Hound managing to capture the Fox by landing on the same space Wins.

Nice period game with five painted lead playing pieces and the original spinner.  The board is in very good condition for age.  The box lid has a side missing and old Sellotape corner/edge repairs.  There are 3 copies of the instructions included, one is a copy of the original and two are re-typed copies.

The game dates from 1948 and was made in the U.S.A. by Parker Brothers, Salem, Massachusetts.
