Description

Nice example of a very rare board game dating from 1947.  Pony Express was made in the U.S. by Polygon Corporation, 3411 North Halsted Street, Chicago, Illinois.  The game is complete and in good condition for the age.  The double-fold game board has a split seam along one fold with a neat repair on the reverse side.  Contains a full set of 32 numbered ‘Pony-Gram’ Cards and the four playing pieces as shown.  The Black Rider has lost his head.  The game instructions, along with a historical introduction, are printed on the underside of the lid.
