Description
Here we have a fine example of a very rare post-War British board game. Bottle Neck is a 2 player strategy game. It is complete and in excellent condition. All components are original to the game. There are 18 aluminium* playing pieces, a Bakelite Shaker and Dice. The game also includes two sets of instructions, one attached to the box inner and the other printed on card.
Made in England by Castell Brothers under their Pepys brand name. The game box measures 12 x 11 x 2.5 inches.
*Historical Note: Aluminium would have been in plentiful supply after the war, with the drop in demand for military aircraft production. It was used in many games and other domestic products during this period.
