Here we have a superb example of a classic British board game, dating from the immediate post-War period. Battle Royal is a strategy game themed on the Wars of The Roses. This game appears to be unplayed. The complete deck of cards still has its original waxed sleeve! This is the ‘Large Box’ variant of the game. The high quality game board is in great condition with superb artwork as shown. Both copies of the Rules (originals) are included. A Pepys Series game, published c.1946. This rare game would grace any museum or private collection.
