1940’s Greyhound Obstacle Race by Fairylite, England

Description

Here’s an extremely rare vintage British board game.  Greyhound Obstacle Race is thought to date from the late 1940’s.  It was published under the Fairylite brand by G.B. (Graham Brothers) of London.  Remarkably, this example has never been used!  It is in near-mint, original condition and believed to be New old stock (NOS), retained by a retailer who ceased trading a long time ago.  The four Greyhound playing pieces and dice are still sealed in their waxed paper wrap as shown. Game rules are printed on a label attached to the underside of the box lid.  Wonderful period artwork on the game board and labels.
