Description
Here’s an extremely rare British Game Board dating from the Second World War. This superb piece of history has wonderful artwork. depicting many of the R.A.F. planes of the period. One of these is the legendary Supermarine Spitfire. It’s top speed at this point is shown as 367mph. This seems to indicate the early Mk1a version of the plane, which fought in the Battle of Britain. The printed surface is mounted on thin card. There is some creasing which is more evident on the back but the playing surface is in good condition for age. This wonderful game deserves to be treasured in a private collection or museum. Would look excellent framed. The open board measures 14 x 14 inches.
