Description
Nice complete example of this rare Peter Pan card game, containing a full deck of 45 cards with four suits of 11 cards plus the Joker (Peter Pan) card. All the cards have different illustrations. This first edition of the game was published in two variants, this example being the red-backed option. The original Rules booklet is also present and in good order as shown. The padded top of the box, which is quite delicate by design, does have a small surface split, but nothing serious and hardly noticeable. The game was manufactured in Great Britain by Castell Brothers Ltd. (London & Glasgow), under their ‘Pepys Series’ brand name and dates from the second world war period.
