“An Interesting Pastime for Children”

This vintage game dates from the inter-War period.  It consists of a cork base and lots of different pre-drilled wooden pieces.  These are fixed to the base with the supplied hammer and nails.  There is also a small tool for removing the nails, ready for a new design.  The game still has the original sheet showing example designs.  The box measures 13 x 10 x 1.5 inches.

A Glevum game, made in England by Roberts Brothers of Gloucester.  Dates from 1938.
