1930’s The “Jamboree” Ludo Board Game, British Manufacture

“Heaps of Excitement – Hours of Pleasure”

Very rare version of this classic board game.  Although it appears to be the standard Ludo game inside, the box lid has superb artwork with a scouting theme.  There is no indication of the maker or date which was common with these early games, however the box is marked ‘British Manufacture’.  Going by the hairstyles and fashions depicted on the lid, I would estimate production in the 1930’s.  The game is in good condition for its age, with neat repairs to the corners of the box lid.  Includes a scanned copy of the rules in English and French..
