Description
Tiddlywinks (there are numerous spellings) is a traditional British parlour game, dating back to the late Victorian period. This early example is in excellent condition. The game was made in England by Chad Valley of Harborne and dates from the 1930’s. The patented Bakelite “Nest Design” was produced in various colours, this being a rather pleasing Dark Green, marble effect version. It is an elegant design with the counters and target cup contained in a matched container. The container has a snug, push-fit lid. The compact design makes it Ideal for travel and storage. A nice quality piece with precise, crisp moulding, great for play or display. I will include a copy of the instructions for those unfamiliar with this traditional British game.
