A classic British board game. This rare early edition of Ludo is complete with all sixteen original wooden pieces, a bone dice and Bakelite dice shaker. The box lid has some internal corner repairs to keep its edges intact. Superb artwork on the box lid showing a Family playing the game. The Rules are printed on the underside of the lid, along with some interesting adverts for other Spear’s games of the period. Estimated to date from the 1930’s, the game was published by J.W. Spear and Sons of Enfield, England.
