“A rollicking game of Thrills and Excitement”
Very nice example of this vintage card game with a full set of cards in their original padded box. This is the red variant of the game. The cards are in excellent condition as shown. Also includes the original Rules booklet. The Newmarket game features six named thoroughbred race horses, all champions in their day: Persimmon;Jeddah; Flying Fox; Ormonde; Ladas and Bend Or. As can be seen in these links, these horses were racing around the turn of the last century. It may be that the game is even older than the 1930 attributed online?
