Description

A very rare game and the only example I have seen in many years of collecting.  Kappinoddles is a simple dexterity game, the idea being to transfer the caps onto the heads (‘Noddles’) of the wooden figures using a magnetic rod.  To make this task more difficult, the rods have a spring section!  The game includes all three original wooden figures and the three Rods. There are also three caps.  Not sure if all the caps are original as one has a different design.  After 90 years, the rods will need new magnets to restore full functionality.

The box is in good condition for age.  It is structurally sound with some hidden edge repairs.  The original card insert is also present which is nice to see.  Superb artwork on the box lid, typical of the period.  Instructions, along with adverts for other games, are printed on the underside of the box lid.  The box measures 29 x 20 x 5 cm.

Dating from 1930, the game was boxed in England with components from the J W Spear factory, Bavaria.

Overall, a charming vintage game which would grace any collection or museum.
