Description

Very rare and sought after game . One of a series of ‘Comic Quoits’ ring toss games made by Spears in the 1920’s. This version features Silly Sam.  The playing surface is fixed to the inside base of the box and has two metal hooks which score 2 and 3 points respectively.  However, maximum points are achieved by throwing a ring  onto the Sam’s upturned nose, scoring 10 points!  Instructions are printed on the underside of the box lid along with some adverts for other games of the period.  The game is in good condition for age.  The box lid has a section of the right hand edge missing as shown.
