Description
Perhaps we can thank the British climate for the plethora of wonderful parlour games that were invented and manufactured here before the advent of more passive forms of entertainment. Here’s another fine example. What could be more pleasant, on a rainy Sunday afternoon, than to indulge in a game of Transporto! The game is complete and in remarkably good condition for age. Instructions are printed on a label, attached to the underside of the box lid, but the magnificent artwork on the box label gives you a good idea of the game.
I have been reliably informed that the game was produced by Roberts Brothers (Glevum) of Gloucester, England.
