Very early version of a table-top  Croquet game in good vintage condition.  The game was made in England by Roberts Brothers of Gloucester, under their Glevum brand name.  It is estimated to date from the early twentieth century, probably 1920’s and consists of 4 Wooden Mallets, 4 Wooden Balls, 6 wire hoops and 2 Posts.  Game instructions are printed on a label, attached to the underside of the box lid.  Wonderful artwork on the lid as with many Glevum games.  The box is also in good condition for age with a small sympathetic repair on the inside of the lid.
