Description
Here’s a nice clean example of a 1920’s, bi-level spinning top. The six sided top is spun to determine the outcome of a horse race including the winner and odds. Horse names are stamped on the lower part of the brass spinner. These names were real British race horses from the early 1920’s period. The odds are indicated on a separate ring of the top, which moves independently of the main body. One side shows ‘DISQ’ (Disqualified). The idea of this game is to place bets on a particular horse to try and beat the Bookie!
