Description

A superb, complete example of a very rare Ring -Toss game dating from the inter-War period.  The game features a sitting Donkey Figure ‘Ned’ who is secured in the box base by means of two wooden stays.  Coloured rings are thrown at the figure in turn to score the most points.  Game instructions, along with adverts for other games, are printed on the underside of the box lid.  Made in Bavaria by J. W. Spear & Sons for export to Great Britain.  A copy of the game is held in the V&A ‘Museum of Childhood’ Collection.
