“Racing with Cards”

This Horse / Greyhound game employs miniature playing cards to determine the winner of the race.  The Game Board and components are in good condition as shown.  The original miniature pack of cards is complete including a joker and blank card.  Game rules are printed on the underside of the box lid.  It is estimated to date from the 1920’s and was published by Flutter-Met Games, 6 Homefield Road, Wembley, Middx., England.  Checking Google Maps, this appears to be a semi-detached residential address, so it seems unlikely that there was ever a large production run of this game.  Consequently, I believe this is a very rare survivor and certainly the only example I’ve seen.
