Description

A nice example of this very rare action game dating from the 1920’s.  The Dick Turpin Shooting Game features a cut out figure of the infamous highwayman astride his horse (Bonnie Black Bess).  The idea of the game is to shoot Dick from his mount using the spring-loaded gun and wooden bullets.  As the highwayman figure is only resting on a wooden peg attached to the lower piece, it is possible to knock him off and win the game.  The game and box are in excellent vintage condition with wonderful period artwork.  Made in England by J W Spear and Sons Ltd., Enfield.
