Description
A lovely example of this rare and early game. Designed in England. the game was made in Bavaria by J W Spear and Sons, before they moved production to the U.K. in the early 1930’s. This was one of a series of comical Quoits games, each featuring a character with a turned up nose.
The game is in very good vintage condition with wonderful bright and colourful graphics on the box lid and on the Comical Pete Character inside the box. The instructions, along with adverts for other games, are printed on the underside of the box lid. Comes with four original rings. I have estimated the date to the 1920’s, but it could possibly be even earlier.
