Description

A very rare and early motor race game, estimated to date from the 1920’s.  It was made in England by H P Gibson & Sons Ltd., London.  The game is complete with all six metal car pieces which, amazingly have survived undamaged!  The three-fold game board is also in very good condition for age.  Includes a wooden shaker and bone dice as shown.  The original instruction sheet is also present.

The box is in relatively good order with a storage puncture to the lid and a small section of the lid edge missing.  This is to be expected with a game from this era.

The game was originally retailed by F.G. Thomas Ltd. of 24 Angel Street, Sheffield.  This is indicated by their labels on the box.

Overall, a very nice example of this rare game.
