Description

This is a very rare survivor from the early twentieth century. Dating from 1920, the ‘Chasing Charlie’ board game uses the Snakes & Ladders principle with a Charlie Chaplin theme. The game was manufactured in England by Spear’s Games, Enfield and retailed by Harrods, London.  The original price sticker is still on the back!
In excellent condition, with original bone dice and counters, this game has seen little use during the last century..
Instructions are printed on the underside of the box lid.  The box has minor storage edge wear / repair, commensurate with age.  You will not see a better example outside a museum!

Please refer to all the photos, as these form an integral part of the item description.
