Description
This extremely rare, antique board game dates from the early days of manned flight. The board is in very good condition with superb artwork as shown. Three of the original playing pieces remain, two of which are still on their stands. Also includes the original wooden shaker and bone dice. Game instructions are printed on a label attached to the underside of the lid. The box has a few knocks and (internal) corner repairs which is to be expected. This wonderful game deserves to be in a museum or collection. Made in England by Roberts Brothers of Gloucester (Glevum Games). Published during the Edwardian period c.1910.
