“A Light Refreshing Card Game, played with Highly Attractive Cards”
A nice complete example of this rare antique Edwardian card game. Includes a full deck of 42 cards, comprising: 24 Bread Slices, 12 different Fillings, 5 Knives and a Bones Card. The Cards are in very good condition with no tears or creasing. The original instruction sheet is still present. The sleeve-style box is also in good order, with both (identical) labels in place. The ‘closed’ ends of both the inner and outer sleeve have been restored using quality card and wood glue (no dreaded sellotape!).

Description from the excellent World of Playing Cards site…
Based on pass a card to the next player rules the object is to make sandwich tricks out of your hand, the higher the value the better, but you can’t make a sandwich without a knife in your hand. The bones card is the old maid of the deck as you cannot make a sandwich with a bone.
