Description
This extremely rare big-game hunting board game dates from the early twetieth century. This is the only boxed example I’ve seen in many years of collecting rare games. The game board and animal cards are in great condition for their age. The box has a few splits around the edges but crucially the wonderful label has survived in good condition. The game boasts superb period artwork throughout and would make an excellent display piece for a museum or private collector. The game rules, in English and French, are attached to the underside of the box lid. Made in England. The Trail was published by Chad Valley of Harborne. It is believed to be an Edwardian piece c. 1900-1910.
