Description
The Prince’s Quest is an elaborate ‘Roll and Move’ game with a large and detailed game board. Although not marked, the game is known to be by Roberts Brothers of Gloucester (Glevum Games). It is featured in Malcolm J. Watkins excellent book Games-Makers To The Empire Vol. 1. There are various dates attributed for this game online, the consensus seems to suggest publication in the late Victorian or Edwardian period, circa 1890-1910. This listing is for the board only but I will include printed copies of the Rules (as pictured). It will only require six tokens and a standard d6 dice to play. This beautifully illustrated antique game would grace any private collection or museum.
