Description
Rare Edwardian game, adapted from Tiddlywinks. As was common with these early games, there is no indication of the maker, but the label does show ‘British Manufacture’ and ‘Made in England’. The game is in great condition for its age. The Zig-Zag Card barrier shows no sign of wear and most of the counters look to be vintage. The game instructions are printed on a label attached to the underside of the lid.
I have never come across this game before and can find no other examples or references online. It’s impossible to be exact about the date, but judging by its style and construction, I estimate manufacture prior to WW1. Please let me know if you have further information. The box measures 14 x 17 cm.
I have been reliably informed that the game was produced by Roberts Brothers (Glevum) of Gloucester, England.
Please refer to all the photos, as these form an integral part of the item description.
