Description
Charming small Mosaic game, consisting of square and triangular wooden pieces, which fit into a 12 x 12 boxed grid. There are also two original sheets with the game, showing example designs. Box seems to be all there with splits on lid edges.
Age is estimated to be pre-WW1, may even be late Victorian (c. 1890-1910).
The game is marked ‘Made in Germany’ but there is no indication of the manufacturer. This was quite common in very early games. I have now listed a larger version of the same game, which bears the monogram “W&S B” for Werner & Schumann a manufacturer based in Berlin.
Please refer to all the photos, as these form an integral part of the item description.
